USB VOIP HANDSET Linksys cordless kit

Hi guys,

I cant have a sip router so a sip device is out of the question.

So I am looking for a standard cordless usb phone where the base plugs into my laptop and then use the handset wirelessly in my room.

I will be using internetcalls not skype.

Will the Linksys Cordless Internet Telephony Kit CIT200 suit this purpose?

I.e. will it work as a standard mic/speaker for non skype programs?
