Can anyone recommend a good USB wireless adapater to use with Virgin Media. I am using the D-Link DIR-615 wireless router supplied by Virgin. I need it to work with Windows 7.

Thanks, that looks just the ticket. I need it to reach an attic room from the ground floor and sound like it has enough strength to do this. Good price too.

For that sort of distance if you can I'd consider a decent PCI(e) card with a qulity external antenae you pushing a lot of distance through floors and for some reason I've always found up and down causes more issues than horizontal range.

have you looked at home plug solution i dont know what OCUK do in that line but i use 200mb/s homeplug to my virgin media 50 mb setup, it is good for places in the house with a weak signal

The 655 review is mine I also used the Tplink one with the 615 I had and it was a fantastic signal aswell. The TP link handles signals coming from directly above threw 2 floors very well. However if you find your 615 is struggling you can get stronger antennas on ebay cheap. Coupled with the tp link adapter you will be sorted
