Ok. So I've pretty much got the gist of these things and what one I'll get.

One question though. In terms of actually using them in a small team how does it function? If they all have the two USB printers set up on their systems already does the wireless print server just emulate this connection (virtual USB!) or would they need re-adding to each system in a specific way.

We have two USB printers in the office, up to five users at any one time and I just want to prevent them having to plug the things in manually each time they want to print.

NB: there is a mix of Mac and XP laptops in use. This should affect anything should it?

I'm not sure if this will help, but this is how my old router's print server worked.

1) Install print drivers on the machine you want to print from
2) Edit the properties of the printer and add a port.
3) Make that port a TCP/IP connection, and point it to the IP address of the router/print server.

I'd get onto the manufacturer's website of the wifi print server's you're looking at, and try and download the manual from the support page.

Thanks for the info.

For a small group is this the best option available? The printers are a HP 5550 LaserJet and a Kodak 5300 AiO. Sadly, the (expensive) laserjet was specced with USB only.
