I have just ordered another graphics card from ocuk so that I can run all my games at a decent frame rate on my snazzy new monitor, however I just discovered that once the new card is in I will have to remove one of my pci cards to make space.

Therefore I have decided to get a usb wireless card (unless theres something I can plug into my onboard wired port?).

Can anyone recommend something decent? The router is on the otherside of 1 external wall and 1 brick internal wall and 1 floor down, so it needs to have a fairly decent signal quality.

Cheers, will get one of those ordered.

Will it be any better than my current BT Voyager wireless pci card? This card tends to lag a bit at times which I am attributing to the thick external wall between me and the router. Living in the extension has its advantages (esp when it comes to the GF ;)) but the network can be shocking at times.

Depends on the throughput of your BT card.

People say 54G and 108mpbs etc makes no difference.

But as an example...

Battlfield 2, had lags every so often when using a 54G usb dongle.

Completely dissapeared when I used the 108mpbs version!

So i'd say, it will be better ;)
