USB2 Ports

I've got my Ipod plugged into the one of the 4 ports of my Gigabyte USB expansion accessory which I thought would be working as USB2 but today I plugged it in and I got this message pop up.

I thought all the ports on my motherboard were USB2 but this would suggest otherwise.
Can anyone offer any advice.

Try different ports until the message goes away? Normally the ones on the motherboard's backplate will be USB 2.0.

Also have you got the latest mobo drivers?
