USB2

ok sounds silly but when I plug my exterbal drive into my DFI nF4 Series ultra it tells me it will work quicker in a usb 2 port.......thought they were all usb 2 ports...
I have even plugged the drive into all the ports with the same message coming up. a bit confused now
I have unistalled the usb 2 root hub and reinstalled it as well

any ideas?????

using xp sp2
usb 2 certified cable ???? never heard of them sorry. Cables are all new though

ok this what I have done ,
unistalled all usb controllers, reinstalled.
I then went and did a update using update driver in device manager, and it is now updated and working.
