Not sure if this is the right forum to post, but this is the second time I have run into this problem.
The case I am working on (Corsair Carbide 300R) has 2x USB3.0 on the front panel. The motherboard I am using only has a USB2.0 header. I understand that using an adapter will not give me USB3.0 performance, but I would still like for these USB ports to be functional.
The last time I got lucky and found an adapter in my local computer shop, but they have none left. Also, only 1 out of 2 USB ports seemed to work.
Does anyone know where I can get a decent adapter/converter with a USB2.0 internal header (M) to a USB3.0 internal header (F)?
Thanks

Not sure if it's against the rules but I can see an adapter on the bay. Search

"USB 2.0 9pin housing male to motherboard USB 3.0 20pin header"

From China so expect a 2 week wait

If I lived in the US, I could buy the Corsair Carbide accessory box which has 1 of these adapters included. :(

Email Corsair? You never know ;) I've had unbelievable customer support from the likes of Fractal Design, Logitech and Coolermaster in the past. Coolermaster in particular, I was looking for an aluminium PSU bracket from a long obsolete Wavemaster case. The CS guy actually emailed back "I'll have a search about the warehouse", thought it was a fob off. Sure enough, he came back, found one in an old box, "what's your address?" :D
