USB3 header help please

Hi all

Here again with another problem.

My P8Z68-V mobo's USB3 header stopped working today. However, the back USB3 ports work fine. I tried connecting another USB front cable from my other computer and it did not work so It's definitely the header is the problem. I have not installed anything or updated anything. I have tried install/uninstalling all usb drivers, reset my bios just in case. Nothing seems to have solved the problem.

Any idea what else I can try to fix this?

did you try a long cmos clear by leaving mb battery out overnight?

thanks, I did that last night, nothing improved this morning...

It's my new 8gb ram that has caused this issue. After removing them, the USB3 header now works. Still observing....
