USB3 Pins

One of the USB3 pins on my motherboard is totally flat so no longer works - My question is will a bent pin on the USB3 effect anything else

In going to buy a new motherboard

It's literally no problem at all, aside from not being able to use the USB 3, as long as it's not shorting anything. Just bend it back, even if it snaps off.

I did try to bend it back but it just doesn't seem to move I think it's snapped

It does look like the pins are touching but it's not causing any issues so it should be fine ?

I snapped one of the pins off my usb3 on my mobo, ended up buying a pcie usb3 card which had an internal usb3 header so I could plug my cases usbs into

I've got an ITX board (so no spare PCIe) with a snapped USB3, and bought a USB2/USB3 adaptor for the case ports

I do want to look for a new motherboard anyway as I like Asus fan control software

Not sure which board to go for though
