I have a new 1440p 165Hz monitor (Dell S2721DGFA) I want to use the DP connection on my desktop, so i need to use HDMI on my laptop.
Currently using a USBC Hub with an HDMI, i'm limited to 60Hz, and i like a higher refresh rate even in windows.
Any recommendations of one youve used that has served well?
Out of interest, i have a USBC to DP cable by "UNI", That doesnt work at 165Hz, i get the odd flicker at 144Hz, but seems fine at 120Hz@1440p. I think the laptop (Dell XPS13) has DP out of the USBC (there is an icon by the socket) so i suspect HDMI2.0 is a different thing entirely.
