My AOC G2460PF uses a HDMI input, and has 5 usb ports, could any of these be used for a webcam, or does it have to plugged into the PC? Thanks.

Thanks for the speedy replies folks. The reason I asked, I currently have a usb led desk light powered by one of the monitor ports and it works ok. So in essense, for a webcam I need a usb cable from pc to monitor, yes? If that's correct, I may as well just run the webcam cable direct to the pc?
