Is this possible?
Can I connect it to another router and use the DSL-N16 as a Modem? It has some good modem features, like setting the VDSL SNR Margin (set to 2dB), which allowed me to increase my VDSL downstream speed by 10mbps.
The reason I'd like to do this is, I think the router / NAT part might be dropping packets when the upload traffic is too high. I've tested this by editing the QOS settings, there's 0 packet loss/ TCP retransmission when the upload traffic is limited to 1%.
When I increase the upload traffic limit to 2%, I start getting some packet loss over the Internet, which increases if the upload traffic is set higher.
