Use LCD TV used as a monitor

I want to cut down on the clutter in my room. Currently I have a 28" wide screen TV plus a 19" monitor for my computer.

Basically I want to get a new LCD TV (around 32") which double as a TV and monitor without paying a fortune. I don't do gaming but will use the TV for watching movies.

Are any the TV's out there that have the blue monitor connection on the back of them fine for the job or do you lose a lot from not having a computer specific monitor.

I had an LCD TV with VGA input and it was pretty awful tbh. Wouldn't recommend it from my experience but someone else may have had a better tv.

I use a 37" LCD myself, it's 1080P though and a 720P set will look considerably worse.

If you want the best quality grab a 32" 1080P or a 37" 1080P set, or you can go for 720P which won't look great but does the job.
