Use multiple microsoft accounts in Win8

Is it possible to log into Windows 8 with one @live.com address, then have it so the messenger app, xbox etc use a different account eg an @hotmail.com account?

For most apps you go to the charms bar > settings and you have the option to add additional accounts.

For the xbox services that might be different so I beg your pardon on that one.

Options, pc settings, users menu, add user..

Add user with another live account..

I have done that, but only way I can seem to use it is to log on as that user, I can't find a way to change the account that is currently active in the app

Ohh sorry...

Then no I think the apps are tied to the active account that's logged in... you can multiple accounts under an app like messaging but it shows content from all accounts logged in.
