I've had my lovely monitor for about 18 months - purchased through Overclockers - and it's been great. But recently, it' makes a grinding noise for several seconds, intermittently during the first half hour of it being switched on.
I'm guessing a fan/fans inside of it aren't working well.
I know I can return it to LG for repair but I was wondering...is it worth & safe, for me to try a mains-powered air duster upon it? The one I have is very powerful and could potentially clear out any dust inside...that said, I'm not sure dust is the problem anyway, as the noise wouldn't disappear after 30 mins every time I turn it on!
