Having had my current mobo die I've had to replace it with a Asus P8Z68-V GEN3 Intel Z68, I have a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4670 Ultimate "Passive" 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express) - Retail and was wondering if it's worth putting it back in or just using the onboard mobo one for simplicity.

I play no gaming and most of my PC work is either the usual surfing, Lightroom 3 (4 Beta) & Photoshop CS5 for photography. I do use the SVGA port out to a plasma TV for occasional vid and DVI to the monitor. I'm not sure the GPU on the Radeon is used for anything.

I would put the gpu back in.

Not that I know if the gpu is defo more powerful that the onboard, but I would think so.

But its basically ofloading some of the stress from the cpu to the gpu, that cant be a bad thing.
