I'll be buying a UMPC / Netbook pretty soon, most likely the MSI Wind, but what I was wondering, was if there was any way to control my main computer wirelessly via my UMPC!? Ideally I would like something similar to remote desktop but for it to not log you out of the host computer. I'd like to be able to just get a copy of whats going on, on my PC, on to my netbook screen!? Is there a program that does this or is there an easier way to do it, etc.

You can use one of the various VNC programs (ultraVNC, realVNC...)
install the server side on the pc and the client viewer on your laptop
This allows you to take control of the desktop using the current logged on user, you can see and use the pc from both location at the same time
