Nothing is OVERCLOCKED at moment.

I have 12GB of memory installed, a 2GB (BL3KIT25664TN1608) in every slot. But my mobo reports only 8GB as useable. CUPID reports all modules installed.
And Win 7 64Bit only sees 8GB.

I am running the lastest BIOS.

Is there anything i can do to get the full 12GB or is this to do with my 2 x Nvidia 285 in SLI.

Thx

I had a similar problem.. Im only running 6GB, but only 4GB would show up!
Nothing was overclocked at the time, and I only noticed it because I accidentally went into system on Windows 7 and saw that it was reporting 4GB.
CPU-z reported 6gb as well..
My problem was that a module was dead. It still showed up in CPU-z as having 6GB Triple channel installed.
Just an idea, you may have 2 dead sticks :P

I brought 3 sticks of 2GB in December 2009, and 3 more last week, so be surprised if have 2 sticks dead...

Maybe its dead slots, will have to do some tests...
Did your system show full memory after wards ???

When I had the replacement sticks through yeah, it showed up as 6GB again! Whilst using the same slots on the motherboard.
I only had my setup since the start of January and one of mine had failed.

Thanks Nickson, One of the Orginal 2GB sticks is at fault, in slot C1, so also took out slot C2, so now have 10GB showing, and 1 empty slot, RMA in the morning.

Thanks again. But feel foolish i did not think of it my self...DOH

Update:
Sent 2GB DIMM under RMA to Crucial on Thursday, got replacement on Tuesday. So 3 business day turn around.

Now have 12GB shown in bios.
