I got a message from my provider O2 to say I'd used all my data allowance for the month. I get 500mb which is more than enough for my iPhone 4. But somehow it's all gone and I've no idea how? I don't stream video or listen to the spotify on there I'm just perplexed cos this has never happened before. I use snapchat could it bet that's? I try when possible to use wifi though. Any clues

No my phone won't upgrade to iOS 8 as only 4s and above can not iphone. 4. And now cheeky O2 is taking a quid a day off my balance even though I'm using my wifi.

Do you have any free apps that are add supported?

You need to either disable mobile data completely or o2 will sell you some extra data. There should be details on the text they sent.

Not sure if it's similar but i've discovered that if my phone is plugged into my laptop, my laptop seems to use my phones internet (even if it's connected to my home wifi and personal hotspot is switched off)

It's done this twice to me now :(

Does anyone know how to turn this off?

Email sync?

I was getting through 50Gb/month (wi-fi) on my android tablet when my wife's email account was syncing its entire history. I kept deleting a "cache" on the tablet, which was filling up the storage, it kept refilling. Nightmare. Then realised it was the email sync
