The E46 came with original carpet mats in good condition, although they were thrown in the boot when I picked the car up. The E92 came with carpet mats that weren't original, but better than nothing, and they kept me going until I replaced them with genuine rubber mats in the front. It also came with a rubber boot liner, which quite obviously isn't for an E92, but I've left it in there to save the carpet underneath. I left the rear mats in because I only look at them once a week when cleaning the car, and they fit OK, but not perfectly. Both cars even came with a complete BMW tool kit, BMW first aid kit, and BMW torch despite being 10 years old or older when I bought them.
The Peugeot 306 I had as a first car came fitted with partially pink floor mats in the front (turned the wrong way around???), some trim pieces missing in odd places, and a chavvy after market gear knob, courtesy of the private owner I bought it off. I bought some generic black floor mats out of Halfords on the way home from buying the car, and I think I had replaced all of the missing trim items within a couple of weeks and fitted an original gear knob, thanks to used part availability on eBay at the time.
