Used cpu + mobo?

Hi there guys is it safe to buy used cpu mobo + ram combo. The one that I would like to buy is I7 3770 without k + b75 mobo +4gb hyper ram

Depends where you're buying it from but generally you wont have any issues. Most of my hardware is 2nd hand and never had anything faulty. If it's eBay then good luck lol.

No it's local add. He said he needs it gone due to upgrade. The only problem is I need to take my psu and ssd to test it but he is okay with that.

Is this motherboard any good?
Asus P8b75m

I know cpu is around 120 pounds on ebay and he wants similar price for combo with 4gb ram.

anyone? Is the Asus P8b75m motherboard enough for i7 3770 and like gtx 950? Also what would be the best gtx 950 as I would like to buy from overclockers due to their outstanding customer service and warranty?

It's a pretty basic mobo but will do the job for that CPU and GPU. I'm having trouble getting on the OC shop atm due to the new server so can't look at the GPU's currently.

The Asus P8b75m will work fine with a 3770,

It sounds like a good deal provided that you are happy with that specific mobo. Might as well sell the RAM though and get some bigger sticks.
