Used games question

Morning all I've just bought a used COD bundle off eBay well my girl friend has for a birthday present and I've just saw the advert which states they have been used and codes the codes activated!!

Does this mean they are a waste of money?

That would be a pretty scummy thing to do if the advert did indeed state, as per OP, that the codes had been used.

Sort of agree, although why would you sell a load of games which were essentially unusable except with the intention of ripping someone off?

Well he said it was the bundle so maybe it has some other mech/artwork etc?

Some people like to have a hard install copy? Or perhaps they use it for some sort of piracy? I dunno - I've sold a few games on ebay which had used codes. Always stated it in the advert, and the price they went for was suitably low.

Yeah if it was me that bought them I would have checked by my girl friend uses my account so she doesn't know any better!!

It seems stupid to sell games that do let work and silly that once the codes are used once the games can't be sold on or traded

Suppose I know now to just buy new

So buying a second hand game you definitely can't activate it with the same one code more than once ???

Some people like me collect retail versions of liked games. So if you have a copy on steam I would buy a used copy just for the box artwork and they go for pennies.
