Evening

I'm trying to build a semi decent gaming PC on a modest budget, It'll be Mini ITX as I have a case kicking round, but want to try and squeeze as much as I can out of my circa £400 budget.

Was looking at pre-owned MSI RX 580's and wondered what a sensible price to pay would be as they are all quite different price wise.

I haven't got access to the OCUK market place, so would be grateful for some advice on:

Good used cards to buy
What prices I should be expecting to pay

Was hoping to be able to get a decent card for circa £100, ideally less.

Thanks:)

You should be able to pick up a decent 580/590 for just below £100, a couple on here have gone for £90-£95 so definitely keep a look out for those. They've aged better than the Nvidia 1060 6Gb equivalent.

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/clearance/graphics-cards

590 8g - £130
580 4g - £140

Tho the prices are questionable as say the 590 red devil is £199 down to 130 in clearance, but new is £169 to £149. If you show ocuk that i bet they will knock off the 30 to make it £100 or less.

Really they should use the current rrp of £169 for new using the clearance sections discount amount of 35% so the b grade one really should be was £169 - 35% - £110.50. Least id ask about that being worked out that way.

980Ti is a good option imho, stock it is very close to the 1070 but the 980Ti overclocks very well and can get close to a stock 1080. Many say the 980Ti is actually superior to the 1070 if you get a good performer.
