Hey guys, im off to Iceland at the end of September, and would like to get myself a very cheap compact system camera as ill be travelling hand luggage only and space would be tight.

My budget is only around £250 though so new that pretty much limits me to the Sony A5000 kit which although very small, seems like it might be fiddly to navigate as it doesnt have any dials.

I have come across a used Panasonic G6 kit which I can get for my £250 budget which seems pretty immaculate, would anything top this for the money?

What would you do in my situation apart from the obvious "Save more money" :p

Cheers!

Thanks for the input, the m10 is very nice but it seems people aren't pricing them very nicely used. If I could find cheap kit lenses I might just get a used body from a camera shop, but again people are asking silly money for them.

The GF7 looks like it would have the same issue as the A5000 as there's no dials, and I would rather have the larger sensor over m43 if given the choice.

I'll just keep trawling eBay etc and hope to pick up a bargain

Edit - Just put in an offer on a Fuji X M1 kit, even if it's not accepted i will be able to get a body and lens separately for within budget :)

In the end I decided against the G6 mainly due to the size of it, and the lack of viewfinder on the Fuji X M1 made me decide not to go for it after all. Instead I've gone for a Panasonic GX7 and 14-42mm lens which I was able to get for £269 which has made me very happy, as it was always the ideal camera just struggled to find it at a halfway decent price
