Used PC games online?

I bought used COD W@W of my friend and just wondering can i play it online with it as the product key already been used before?

Yeah, as long as the original owner hasn't written it down as the multiplayer .exe doesn't require CD verification, only CD Key.

Depends if the last owner decided to keep the serial and continue to use it online. If thats the case then the servers will start flagging up duplicate serial.

Oh well, i'll try to install it and see what happen then. Hopefully he uninstall it
