Hi gang,

It appears you have to pay for parkers valuation (which i believe isnt all that accurate anyway).

Is someone able to get valuation for me?

2000 Audi A3 1.8T sport with 96,000 miles.

Could i get the part exchange price for this first and foremost, also private good/poor etc prices would be fantastic.

Would be a massive help if you could do this for me.

Thanks

Adam

From Parkers:

Audi A3 (96-03)
1.8 T Sport 3d 2000/W
Average mileage 60,000 miles
Original Price £19,525
Franchised Dealer £7,350
Independent Dealer £6,850
Private Good £6,245
Private Poor £4,420
Part Exchange £5,195

From the December 2006 Parkers Car Price book:

X or W reg? 3d or 5d?

W-Reg, 3d: £3755
X-Reg, 3d: £3935
W-Reg, 5d: £3815
X-Reg, 5d: £4075

After correcting for mileage. All those are part/ex prices. Private sale prices are approx. £1000 more in each case.

Fantastic :) Its a 3 Door Sport W plate.

What is the dealer price? Dealer £4,675
What is the private price? Private £4,025
What is the part exchange price? Part exchange £3,825
What is the trade price? Trade £3,575
What is the cost new price? Cost new £19,770

My brother is getting the 2.0T new shape TT and was looking at P/E'ing it into the dealer, i may buy it off him at P/E price, which would then put him in a better position when buyng from the dealer. Bit faster than my MG and i know its well looked after so.

The best place to ask would be an Audi specific forum, anyway.

Are you buying or selling?

Where fanboys give over inflated valuations? I don't think so.

I'd stick with the likes of What Car / Parkers etc.

Nice. :) I used What Cars site to value my BMW when I bought it, its proved accurate for a few other cars that have recently come & gone from my circle of family / friends.

Yes thats a very handy link actually.

Natureally the best source of information would be the latest glasses guide, but thats very very handy!

What Car uses a really bizarre mileage adjustment algorithm and provides wacky valuations for higher mileage cars.

This is great when negotiating with a seller and not so great when not.

Glass's is more accurate.
