Used RTX4090

Astral OC is £2789. £990 premium over the FE. Madness.
Yeah the oc was actually 2350 before black Friday, so that was the last "cheap" price you'll get for that brand new. I can't say anything, paid £700 premium for liquid and now want to switch it

Matrix 800w bios in full swing however is 5090TI settings and can justify any of the models non fe that support it being used.

If the Lynk+ stuff was in stock I'd be after the cheapest compatible 5090 I could find and use that aio for it.

Hopefully the case when I'm ready to take action.

That £2350 isn't coming back ever - agreed!

You got the card with an AIO? I've always found those cumbersome (last one I had was an X1950XTX) versus a card in a loop. What's driving your urge to change, may I ask?

Can't use the matrix 5090 800w bios with Suprim liquid, or following Asus models astral black/tuf/LC being the primary driving reason.

Currently using gigabyte waterforce bios for better performance, but would like to have 5090TI performance  so will try and do what I said above get a cheap 5090 variant and still have it under liquid for the cooler temps, or go with aorus master/waterforce where I can have a 2nd 12vhpwr connector added to the PCB and distribute the load of 800w safely.

It fits in my case fine going dual aio but did require removing 4 120mm fans to shove it in properly, only down side.

Are the FE highly rated (other than for RRP price)?

I’d say the FE are probably easier to sell than other cards. They have great build quality, and perform just as well as AIB cards in the real world.

The only reason I don’t have an FE is because they weren’t in stock when I was buying. I’d say there are probably a few other people with AIB cards for that same reason.

The only other reason I look at AIB is because I can buy them at retailers with better returns policies for peace of mind. My experience with NVIDIA customer service hasn’t been great.

I tried selling mine on the Members market for £1200 a few months ago, not a sniff.

Put it on eBay starting at £1300 yesterday and in 2 bids it was up to £1790 with 6 more days to go.
crazy when you could get em in b grade when they first came out for 1000 quid :D
