Used x360 - Will previous owners downloaded games work for me?

Hi

Am picking up a 1 year old x360 250gb that has 4 games installed on the hard drive which the previous owner downloaded I'm guessing via marketplace.

These games on the HD are included in the sale description but my concern is they will not play unless via his xbox account?

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks :)

Just to add to the above response, I personally wouldn't pay extra or attach any value to the digitally downloaded games. Essentially they are a nice freebie.

There is a page here on 360 DRM: http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-360/downloadable-content/download-content?icid=furl_drm#transfer

What it doesn't state is what happens if the owner attempts a migration of the content licenses to a new 360 (needs the serial numbers for both consoles). Although very unlikely I would have thought but something to consider.

Thanks for the replies.

Good news is that the downloaded games appear to remain with the console and not the sellers account and appear to play fine via my xbox profile.

I'm assuming the games were purchased via marketplace as they play ok on the console without any need to install disc.

Games were effectively freebies and a nice bonus.

Slim is a lot quiter ten the original X360 andlike being able to install gmaed on HD
