Useful Mac Apps

Hi all, looking for the names of a couple of Mac apps I have used in the past. Just bought a new Air and looking to get them installed, any help appreciated.

First one was a really simple one, it just coloured the icons in Finder so you could see stuff more easily.

I've just remembered the second one I was looking for, so won't go into detail about that (Growl). Anyone have any other useful Apps they can't live without?

Better Touch Tool for window snapping like in Windows.
It also allows for loads of custom clicks, and finger gestures for the magic mouse, and trackpad.

Ah yes, that is one I also had installed. Good shortcutting capabilities.

Try Hiss. It forwards Growl alerts to the OS X Notification Centre.

I always add XtraFinder to that list. Adds tabs, cut/paste, and many more features to the Finder (ie. it isn't a Finder replacement!).

Caffeine - prevents sleep
Alfred - powerful search and automation
Degrees - weather in menu bar
