Has most of the main Auzentech cards, plus a couple of Xonar and Creative X-Fi cards.

Quite handy for quickly looking up features.

It's generally a good, accurate chart, but I do note that the ability of Xonars to emulate EAX higher than 2.0 isn't mentioned.

How much difference does the Audio Processing Ram make? Only thing on the D2X that seems lacking...

IIRC only a few games/applications made use of it so not much. I may be wrong though.

All OpenAL games use it. Whether or not it makes any noticeable difference is another matter.

I noticed no significant differences between X-Fis that do and don't have X-RAM.

Cheers for the info guys, decided on the Xonar D2. Looks good from the options available and price. It will be here Tuesday so I'll see how it goes then

Interesting, what does the Max Output level 2.0Vrms / 5Vrms etc relate to?

not much in real terms, although its useful in noisy environments like car audio, where interference can be a problem - a higher signal level makes it easier to block out interference. But for home use, its not really needed.

it's a good start for a comparison chart, thats for sure, and its suprising azun would host a chart showing other cards in a better light in some areas. But typically they arent comparing every card out there - the hdav 1.3 and slim are predicably missing.

Still, there's no reason why somebody cant take that info and complete the chart
