I am currently using http://www.maximumusenet.com/. I find their 50gb package perfect for me and very cheap.
Prior to this i used www.newshosting.com who are also very good but i changed to the service above as it is cheaper and of the same quality.
I have also used www.usenetserver.com but i found newshosing.com and maximumusenet.com both had better retention, service and prices.
Newsleecher, is in my opinion the best software out there. New updates are also set to include auto unpack and extract features making it even better.

I use Giganews. Not the cheapest, but I can always max out my 10mb line and it has amazing retention.
Another vote for newsleecher here too, it's a great piece of software and well worth the asking price IMO.

I'm sure "Thundernews" will be ok. From a previous thread I heard they were resellers of "Newshosting". I'm with Newhosting and their service is excellent, especially their retention. Their unlimited accounts are pretty good, I've been with them for a good few years now and I'm certain they don't cap your speeds or censor groups.
