Just a quick query as I'm new to the whole news groups thing.

How secure is Usnet. I'm using paid for services (astraweb) with encryption enabled. How secure is this ie does it suffer the same problems as bit torrent?

Great news, cheers guys. Initially bought my self the 25gb chunk with 20 connections just to see how I get on but will be sticking with astraweb I think!

I'm really happy with Astraweb. STGill finding my feet and just learnt how to unpack/repair stuff. Using Newsleecher which although you pay for, seems very good.
