User Files Location Windows 8.1

i wouldn't try and move the whole folder but moving individual folders inside your own user folder is fine. if you right click music, documents, pictures, etc, you'll see there is a location tab which you use to point it at any other folder you like. you can even highlight multiple folders in explorer and move them by using cut & paste.
 
I already have My Doc's & photos etc on a separate drive, however I just thought why not move the complete user folder along with all the hidden files
 
If you don't mind trying out a total re-install then you might find http://www.winreducer.net/ helpful. It is like nlite if you ever used that to recreate an iso for XP or Vista. I don't know for sure if it has the customisation option for the Users folder but it looks very full featured and I'm sure it was possible in nlite.
