User opinions please - which 19" TFT

I have finally managed to persuade the keeper of the purse (the wife) that a TFT monitor is the way to go.

Trouble is I am unsure which to choose, I currently use a 17” Iiyama CRT which is now 8 years old and the brightness / contrast is all messed up.

My options as I see it are one of the following 19” models and I would appreciate any user comments on them as I am fed up of looking at reviews and constantly changing my mind.

(BTW my pc is running two 7600 GT in SLI – so I hope I will be able to game at the monitors native resolution)

The choices:

Viewsonic VX922
Samsung SM940 BF (gets a lot of good feedback)
Samsung SM 920N (ideal price will keep the keeper happy but analogue only)
Benq FP91G+ (great price again – too good to be true?)
Hyundai B91D

Help me make up my mind someone please.

The two 7600gt's will run that resolution more than fine.

Not thought about going widescreen? There's the Hanns-G 19" wide for only £109 at the moment on here.

Argueably the VX922 is the best gaming 19" tft available and can be had for £213 if you shop around. The only possibly better one is the Hyundai Q90U which is more expensive but can be found for £282 if you look around.

A review i read yesterday recommended the Viewsonic VX2022 20" widescreen for gaming also. Have'nt been able to find this anywhere though. Have a read of the articles and reviews here.

Maybe you should wait a day before deciding...

New from Hyundai IT - the N91S 19" Widescreen, 800:1, 5ms, DVi Multimedia. OCUK will get stock hopefully Monday!

I cant add the PDF to this forum but its stunning....
