Hi guys,

I'm having some serious issues with my pc atm so need some advice!

Ok here's whats happening, I'm pretty sure theres atleast 1 nasty virus on my system, perhaps a rootkit.
I've tried going into safemode and running virus scans, spybot, adawarem checked registry and msconfig entries to see whats runningon startup.

Everything comes up clear.
Now here's whats actually happening with the system.

Everytime I log into my profile, i receive random errors, mostly application errors with 0xc000012d. Can't open task manager as I receive the same error, the top bar of any windows I open are missing, can't open up any programs. Occasionally I get a userinit.exe error. I also receive the error that insufficient system resources exist to complete the task.

Now here's the annoying part, I thought it might be a corrupted user profiel so created a new one. THis initially works perfectly, however on reboot the problems start to resurface again and I'm back to square 1.

Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? Perhaps a rootkit? If so why can't I find anything in safemode.

I can only access windows update if I create a new profile and logon with it, however my windows is already updated fully and has SP3 :/

I'll give malwarebytes a try in safemode. At the moment I'm using symantec corporate antivirus is that not recommended?.

I'll post a hijackthis log however last time I looked at it I didn't see anything suspect :s
