User with highest *genuine* post count?

I rushed to 1k for MM, then had a lot to say until 7k, then smashed my way to 10k, then basically started posting once or twice a week. Looking back at post history I probably should have withheld. Oh well.

I was just curious because a friend of mine commented that my post count was really high, and I told him that it really isn't by comparison to some.

Wanted to find out who had the most genuine posts so I could tell him :p

So far I know that Freefaller has a genuine 83,688, I know that Cosimo's aren't genuine, and I'm not sure about:

SideWinder - 148,564
[TW]Fox - 145,578
Stan_Lite - 107,034

And I also don't know which members used to have more! :p

It is not an important question, but it is difficult to find the correct answer. :D

Fox's post count was already pretty mental before he had it bumped up a bit in an event.

I'd estimate he's legitimately still in 2nd place with more than 107k legitimate posts.

I'm also surprised to see i'm only a few k posts off the top 20. Guess that's what being a member for 13 years does for you (not including time pre preset!)

select count(*) from post group by username limit 10 desc;

should give you the top 10 real post counts.

Doesn't that aggregate al present posts? There are hundreds of thousands of posts that have been pruned.

Only if the pruned stuff was hard deleted, soft deleted would still be counted.

Otherwise, there is no way to recover the true real counts when you mix manual post count alterations + hard deletes.

That query would pretty much be the most accurate available though.

Cosimo aka Spamulator man.

Rarely posts an opinion, but posts a lot of threads. All about that post count yo.

Him and Fox, Fox posts a lot (I guess about motor vehicles)

We hard deleted for years until such a point where the storage and software combination no longer demanded it.

I think it was common practice until '07, and even happened at points after that. If I had less than 30k by then I would be surprised.
