Username and password not working ...

Hi guys, trying to find my WEP key as i just bought an ipad, and our key is massively long so can't remember it.

I type in our routers ip address, and then the login box appears, i thought i would be the standard "admin/password" but that's not working?!

How do i get around this :s

Click the reset button on your router thats what i have to do..

Might help if you told us what router it is and who your ISP is.

All I know is the default log in for a skybb router is something like admin/sky

Disable WEP and use WPA.

Go to the manufactures website and get the manual, read it, try the default username and password or tell us the make and model here.

Alternatley you can hold down the reset button for ~10 seconds but it will reset all the settings.

PS - dont use WEP.

If you post the model of your router, Who your ISP is and any other relevant details we should be able to help.

And regarding WEP, One of our neighbours has WEP encryption on their Wifi and I told them it was unsecure and the said, "No, its got a password" I sat in their front room infront of them and cracked their network key within 10 minutes. They then began to listen to me and changed to WPA2
