Username change request

Sorry mods, not sure I'm in the right place and I'm not usually this indecisive but since formatting my computer recently I've had to trawl through all the forums, blogs and shops I frequent and login again, and all the lost username/password forms along the way this entails. Would it be possible to have my username changed to something like:

• Ed.
• Ed_
• [Ed]

This would simplify my entire life, make me happy again and I'm sure you'll be rewarded in heaven for it. If you can find time in your busy day I'd be extremely greatful.
