I need to make a part (shown below) shorter, but whenever I use dynamic edit it just subtracts the length from the ends, which messes up the holes etc I've got there.
Surely it's possible to subtract a section from the centre of the part without having to draw the whole part again?
Anyone know what command I should be looking for?

EDIT: I know SolidEdge is crap but it's what I'm stuck with, so don't bother with the whole "use a good CAD package" stuff please.
