Users vcore on a 3770k overclock.

What sort of volts are you guys putting through your 3770k's to get say a 4.4 oc.

My board ain't the best for voltage control so I'm having to use the offset setting.

I've managed to pass a run of IBT at 4.4 on 1.27v but then I got straight after a catalyst error

Any help greatly appreciated as always

More vcore offset if catalyst is crashing

Around 1.25v for 4.5ghz but it depends on your CPU

I can do 4.5ghz with 1.212v

What sort of temps are you getting mate at that speed and volts?

Im delidded now,but before delid I was hitting 80c tops using a silver arrow cooler,

Volts were 1.212v, medium llc and +0.015v offset I think

Cheers for that. When I did my IBT test at 4.4 my highest core was 74 degrees, is that ok?

Yes anything under 80c is ok imo,even 80-85c is ok

What stress level did you do in ibt? Max stress was with 80c

Also play games in between stressing,just do 5 runs ibt and gaming,games will crash to desktop if CPU v isn't enough

What is pll voltage for??

I have reduced mine from 1.8 to 1.6 as I read in a thread somewhere you could it, is that ok?

pll phase locked loops have mine at 1.65v

helps with stability something to do with jitter correction

My 3770k was a very volt hungry chip. 1.3400v for 4.5ghz and yet never fully stable. Temps at 100% werent actually too bad. For me pll at 1.65v did help with that chip and the 3570k i had before it.

Crickey, in the last year ive blew over £600.00 on cpu's alone.

Well I seem to have cracked 4.4 ghz. I don't have a direct control to the vcore adjustment its done by the offset tab in my bios but it have got 4.4 stable at 1.296 max on the vcore ( according to cpuz ) and my pll is set to 1.61.

Max temp on any one core during the test was 75 degrees so im going with that for now as im still waiting on a couple of fans and fan adapters for one of my rads.

And just by correcting the vcore if stopped my catalyst problem as well so its been a good night.
