Hey, been asked to suggest a use for a 5 Hz frequency in my electronics class, i thought a strobe light? any other ideas much apreciated!!!

Some wireless mice use 5ghz for there waves - this is the same yea?

Significantly different.

5Hz is 5 oscillations per second.
5GHz is 5,000,000,000 oscillations per second

And there's no such thing as brown noise.

What kind of waveform are we dealing with here?, sine, square or sawtooth?

Er, it's electronics, not sound generation. 5Hz = on and off 5 times a second. You can't have anything in between :p

I'd second a strobe light. Can't think of much else you could use it for, unless you wanted to make something vibrate :D

How about as a vibration for game pads, sorting items by size over a mesh, to control a motor on an egg beater, or is it nothing like that?
