Using 27" ACD with Windows?

You can use it, as long as you have a mini display port, ideally, on your graphics cards, but it's not ideal.

Install the relevant bootcamp drivers and it will work fine. However, it begs the question, why? The U2711 etc are good monitors and can be had for less.

The cinema display is a nice screen tho, I have to admit!

I'd pick something else for the price tho!

Works fine with the caveat of mini display port, I went for it as there is simply nothing anywhere near as gorgeous aesthetically and the other IPS 27" I've seen are matte.

Don't think the newer Thunderbolt Display works though.

The newer Thunderbolt display requires a Thunderbolt source, yeah.
