Using 32bit key for 64bit?

If I install Vista 64bit (OEM) on my laptop can I use my 32bit Vista key that it's using at the moment?

It has come installed with loads of turd and I want a fresh install lol.

Just wondering why they installed the 32bit on the Laptop, when it's a 64bit CPU :\
