Using a colour wheel for web pages

Ok bit of a strange thing to ask, I've been looking at some colour wheels (http://wellstyled.com/tools/colorscheme2/index-en.html is my fav) for web pages, I was wondering if anyone knew any good resources for applying the colours to web pages, like where to use which colour? I know there's probably no straight formula as such but I've found some good schemes but they never seems to look as I expect when I put them on a web page.

Thanks,

You can't be told where to use the right colours, or else most designers would be out of a job.

Why don't you just experiment which some different colours and see what works.

Check out www.colourlovers.com for some pallette ideas.

Edit: Apparently that site is down for a few weeks, but add it to your bookmarks as its a nice site for colour inspiration. In my meantime, try www.colorwhore.com.

Sorry mate, maybe I asked the wrong question, I just need some info on colour theory, like good places to use certain colours etc.

Thanks for the links though very handy :)
