Using a Dell 2408 with X360 via HDMI...

Hi folks,

As above, if I use my Dell 2408 as my display for an Xbox360 how will I be able source the sound?

I previously had a PS3 connected to a Dell 2407 via component and used the red/white audio cables and got a jack that combined them into a standard PC sized jack (3.5mm I believe?) so I could use my PC speakers, how would I do this with HDMI?

I know the 2408 has an audio out on the back, is it as simple as plugging my PC speakers into it? By the way, the monitor is boxed up as i'm moving soon so haven't had chance to try this yet.

the 3.5mm cable should plug into the audio out on the back of the monitor then to the speakers i think

HDMI doesn't have a seperate audio connection though...

As above Rizzee, that seems to be the obvious solution, but the monitor is boxed up awaiting removal so I can't try it. I'm hoping forummers who have a 2408 and X360 can tell me how their setup works.
