Hey guys,

I’m currently occupying three fan headers on my Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite WiFi 7, the last on the bottom of the motherboard says “fan4_pump.

Is it ok to use that header for the rest of my system fans?

The headers are no different, same exact outcome just in BIOS it will have it as AIO PUMP speed.

If for any reason BIOS is flagging low pump speed just disable monitoring that channel mate and good to go! If you need more convenience and the layout of your fans is problematic then consider splitter cables behind the case or a fan hub even a basic Splitty type can consolidate things to less headers.

You would need to check motherboard manual
Good news is AIO/pump headers can be
Higher amps so can run more fans off one
But they may also be fixed to max rpm
Which is what you would need to check in the manual
