Using a LCD TV as a monitor

Sorry if this is in the wrong place or repeated, but I want to use a Samsung 23” LE23R71BX and want to know if its any good to use as a everyday desktop monitor and T.V , or maybe someone knows a better one cant be bigger then 23”

All I know is that you should be looking for an LCD with 1:1 pixel mapping so you can actually read text.
