Hi all, I have a canon 350D and I bought a light tent as I need to take photos of some scissors for a catalogue, which settings are the best to use on this camera, as the Quality I am getting is kinda poor on the auto mode.

Thanks.

How are you lighting the tent?

I've never used one before, but wouldn't mind getting one. We have studio lights to hand so would have no problems lighting it.

Not sure how good it would be using flash from camera (not the flip up). You would need to try and bounce the light onto the tent from the outside.

I guess you could try: ISO 100, F8 on AV mode for a start - with a tripod of course. Once you know what shutter speeds you are getting, flip to manual and have a play.
