Just got myself a 2Gb Memory Stick Duo for my PSP and I want to know if there is anything available to let me organise playlists etc to enhance my listening pleasure?

not essentially a playlist maker but i would suggest using sonicstage to convert to atrac, i have got 46albums onto my 1gb stick using the lower bitrate(think 96) but with no loss of sound quality that i can hear, and it converts and sticks straight onto your psp.

Coolio - I will give it a try thanks.

Does your volume go as high as you would expect it to on an mp3 player? I turn mine up to the max when listening to MP3's and it's still only about as loud as you would expect a mid range setting to be on a walkman / iPod etc...!!!

is AVLS turned off??

Yes it was... turned it on to see what it does and now it's even quieter!!!

Surely they will be able to fix this in a future Firmare upgrade? I love the little black box of tricks but this really lets it down.

Ok, solved it... it was the bleeding headphones which come with it. Plugged my Sennheiser in and it blasts quite loud. :)

Cant post it here, you will need ver 1.5 firmware to use them though.

Damn! I got v 2.6

It's ok though - I just discovered that the built in player has a shuffle option so that will do nicely for now.
