Using a standalone server on network

Hi folks

I have a test box running Windows Server 2008r2 with the AD, DNS, and IIS roles running. Now this has been quite happily sitting under my desk in work whilst I have been testing some apps and dev work, but I want to update it.

Will plugging it into our corp network have any effects on running services? there is no DHCP service running on the machine, just the services mentioned above?

Should be fine as long as your AD/DNS has no logical connection to your live environment (seperate namespace).

This type of thing makes me nervous though - I admit I'd be putting it on a seperate VLAN just to be sure.
